FAQs

How does the Filtrare coffee maker work?
Place a paper filter inside, add freshly ground coffee, then slowly pour hot water over the grounds. The coffee passes through the filter and flows directly into your carafe.

What filters should I use?
Our coffee makers are designed to work with many filter types, but our favorite is the Chemex paper filters.

How do I clean it?
Rinse thoroughly with warm water after each use. For deeper cleaning, use a mild dish soap and a soft sponge. A round bottle brush, similar to those used for baby bottles, works well for cleaning the inside of the coffee maker.

Is it suitable for someone new to pour-over coffee?
Absolutely. The pour-over method is simple to learn and easy to make your own.
