4:6 Method
You’ll Need:
25 g medium-ground coffee (approximately 5 level tbsp)
400 g or ml of hot water (1⅔ cups)
Water temperature: 200°F / 93°C
How to Pour:
0:00 — Bloom: Pour 80 ml water (⅓ cup).
0:40 — Second pour: Add another 80 ml (⅓ cup).
1:20 — Third pour: Add another 80 ml (⅓ cup).
2:00 — Fourth pour: Add another 80 ml (⅓ cup).
2:30 — Fifth pour: Add the final 80 ml (⅓ cup).
You will use 400 ml—or 1⅔ cups—of water in total.
Total brew time:
Approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds.

Filtrare for Two
You’ll Need:
30 g medium to medium-coarse ground coffee (approximately 6 level tbsp)
480 g or ml hot water (2 cups)
Water temperature: 200°F / 93°C
How to pour:
Bloom: Pour 60 ml water (¼ cup). Wait 40 seconds.
Second pour: Add 90 ml (6 tbsp), bringing the total to 150 ml.
Third pour: Add 170 ml (approximately ¾ cup minus 1 tbsp), bringing the total to 320 ml or 1⅓ cups.
Fourth pour: Add 160 ml (⅔ cup), bringing the final total to 480 ml or 2 cups.
Let most of the water drain through before beginning each new pour.
Total brew time:
Approximately 4 minutes.

Anaerobic Natural | Sweet & Juicy
You’ll Need:
32 g medium-coarse ground coffee (approximately 6 level tbsp plus 1 tsp)
500 ml hot water (2 cups plus 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp)
Water temperature: 196–198°F / 91–92°C
How to Pour:
0:00–0:45 — Bloom and lift:
Begin with 110 ml water (⅓ cup plus 2 tbsp), followed by another 90 ml (¼ cup plus 2 tbsp).
You should now have poured 200 ml in total.
1:30–3:00 — Build sweetness and body:
Make three more pours of 100 ml each (⅓ cup plus 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp per pour).
You will use 500 ml—or approximately 2 cups—of water in total.
Allow the coffee to finish draining between approximately 4:30 and 5:15.

Coffee for Two (1:16 Method)
You’ll need
40 g medium-ground coffee (approximately 8 level tbsp)
640 g or ml hot water (2⅔ cups)
Water temperature: 200°F / 93°C
How to Pour:
Bloom: Pour 80–100 ml water—between ⅓ cup and ⅓ cup plus 1 tbsp and 1 tsp. Make sure all the grounds are wet.
Wait approximately 40 seconds.
Add the remaining water in 2–4 slow pours, pausing briefly between each one.
Stop when you have poured 640 ml - or 2⅔ cups - in total. The bloom water is included in this amount.
Total brew time: Approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds.
